Pouring With Heart, the group behind the Varnish and Golden Gopher, took over the 1937 Firestone Tire and Service building on La Brea after it sat empty from 2015 until the brewery opened in February 2021; the restoration later won a 2023 preservation award. The 15-barrel brewhouse sits visible behind glass, with arcade games and communal tables filling the rest of the indoor-outdoor room. Chica's Tacos runs the kitchen in-house, turning out steak and jackfruit tacos alongside a chipotle barbecue chicken pizza, while the beer list stays close to classic American styles like the citrus-leaning Bullitt IPA.
