Behind the dining room, picnic tables fill a patio built for day-drinking through an all-German tap list that runs quads and grand crus not common elsewhere in LA. The kitchen keeps to the biergarten script: veal schnitzel, a pretzel the size of a dinner plate, sausages, and crispy Brussels sprouts. Indoors, communal tables surround a thirteen-seat bar.
