Two home-brewing friends, Adam Kestel and Mike Voss, turned a garage operation into this taproom along the LA River in Frogtown, opening in 2016 with home-brew taster Gustavo Rojas helping bring in investors. The room still feels like a friend's garage, just with an industrial brewing setup and rotating local art on the walls instead of a workbench. A food truck usually parks outside in the evenings, though outside food is allowed too, and dogs come along with their owners. Beers run from the year-round Kinky Blonde Ale to one-offs like a tiki-inspired IPA brewed with toasted coconut and pineapple.
