Wolf & Crane Bar

A name borrowed from an Aesop fable marks one of the largest Japanese whisky collections in the country, including a Hibiki 30-year and an 18-year Yamazaki aged in mizunara oak. Owners Michael Francesconi and Matthew Glaser, both longtime Downtown residents, keep the space unmarked from the street, with little signage to announce it. Inside it opens into a bigger, more casual room than the entrance suggests, with a DJ working through oldies and no kitchen at all.
