This outpost of New York's Blue Note, the first outside the city, opened on Sunset Boulevard in August 2025, capturing a classic jazz-club feel with waiters working a prix fixe menu between tightly packed tables. Chef Asaf Maoz of Carmel runs the kitchen, pairing dinner and weekend brunch service with jazz-era cocktails. A second room, the B-Side, holds about 100 and is set aside for developing acts, with saxophonists Terrace Martin and Kamasi Washington helping book the younger names. Robert Glasper opened the room with a four-show stand, followed by sets from Ben Folds and Esperanza Spalding.
