Globe Theatre Los Angeles

Built in 1913 as the Morosco Theatre inside an eleven-story Beaux Arts office tower on Broadway, the building was renamed the Globe when it began showing newsreels in the 1940s, then ran Spanish-language films before closing in the 1980s. Original plaster cherubs, garlands, and theatrical masks still line its marble staircase, alongside a 2025 renovation that added an Art Deco-style Absinthe Lounge and a VIP mezzanine. It now operates as a nightclub and live event space that runs DJ nights and dance parties.
