Coin Haus

On Allison Avenue in the Village of La Mesa, Coin Haus fills a storefront marked mostly by spray-painted letters over the door, with a shipping container at the center of the room stacked with self-pour taps on both sides. A wristband tracks pours and games alike: wave it at a tap for craft beer, cider, wine or coffee beer, or at a cabinet along the back wall running classics from Mario Kart to a multiplayer Pac-Man machine. Admission is restricted to 21 and up.
