Spa at La Costa Resort

The spa at what's now the Omni La Costa Resort opened in 1965 as part of a build its founders called the largest and best-equipped spa in the world at the time, and it became the first in the country endorsed by the American Medical Association. Guests get separate men's and women's wings with steam rooms, saunas and relaxation rooms, plus an outdoor pool, hot tub and reflexology walking path, finished with a Roman-style shower routine that cycles between hot and cold. A day pass covers the facilities from open to close, with treatments booked separately.
