In the basement on West 12th Street once occupied by the Beatrice Inn, this speakeasy splits into a few interconnected dining rooms behind a bar built to look like the dining car of an Art Deco train. Burgers and duck a l'orange come out of the kitchen, and a fireplace sits within reach of the bar seats for anyone here just for a cocktail. Reservations are open through Resy, but walk-ins can still grab a barstool. The soundtrack runs lovers' rock, soul and hip hop most nights.
