A fish market on Court Street in Cobble Hill, this shop has nowhere to sit inside, so the frisbee-sized fish tacos and the lobster roll piled with shredded iceberg lettuce get carried a block over to Cobble Hill Park. It opened in Downtown Brooklyn in 1996 before landing on Court Street, and the counter still moves fresh catch daily alongside a short list of ready-to-eat items like smoked whitefish salad and crab cakes. What's sold here is closer to dinner shopping than dining out, and the takeout counter serves people picking up fish for later as often as anyone eating on the spot.
