Billed as the country's first petanque bar, Carreau Club fills an Industry City space with indoor and outdoor courts for petanque, a French lawn game similar to bocce that's picking up players in the U.S. Each court comes with its own seating area, its own set of boules, and a server who brings drinks and food over rather than sending players to the bar. The kitchen runs to a wagyu sandwich and a Moroccan merguez steak sandwich on ciabatta-style bread, backed by a full bar of craft beer, wine, and cocktails. League nights run midweek, and a free beginners' tournament fills the courts every Friday at 7 p.m.
