The former Hecla Iron Works Building on Wythe Avenue holds this 23,000-square-foot bowling alley and concert venue, opened in 2009 as the world's first LEED-certified lane house, built partly from recycled materials, truck tires among them, for the stage floor. Sixteen lanes run beside a concert floor for about 600 people, Coney Island's old freak-show posters and carnival relics covering the walls. Blue Ribbon Restaurant Group runs the kitchen, sending fried chicken, ribs and wings out to tufted couches at lane-side. Groups of ten to two hundred can book a lane during a show, letting bowling and a live band run at the same time.
