Vintage decor fills the front of this Bedford Avenue coffee shop, where a house rule against laptops keeps that section for conversation rather than work. Anyone who needs a screen can move to the tables in back, which have free WiFi. The menu sticks to coffee, tea and pastry, no food beyond that. It opens at 7am on weekdays and 8am on weekends, both times running until 8pm.
