Millie’s Café

Eight stools at the counter face the cooks and there are a handful of tables indoors, but most people at this Silver Lake breakfast spot eat outside, under umbrellas on the Sunset Boulevard sidewalk. It has been on this spot since 1926 and serves breakfast and lunch only, first come, first served. The menu runs to scrambles and Benedicts: the Devil's Mess is three eggs with Cajun turkey sausage, white cheddar and guacamole, and the chilaquiles Benedict comes with barbacoa beef. Most plates come with a homemade biscuit or toast.
