Breakfast is the draw at this all-day kitchen in the Marina Marketplace shopping center on Glencoe Avenue, and weekend brunch usually means waiting for a table. It opened as a diner in 1974. A later remodel traded the coffee-shop look for wood, high-backed booths and a lot of daylight, and the cooking is still done from scratch: ribs smoked in-house, handmade corned beef hash and English muffins, pancakes with pulled pork. Dinner runs to meatloaf, rainbow trout and a flat iron with chimichurri, and the bar pours wine and craft beer.
