Johneric Concordia and friends from the neighborhood ran a barbecue catering business for three years before opening on Temple Street, near the 101, in 2012. The meats are smoked Southern-style and cooked with Filipino flavors: Mama Leah's coconut beef adobo, San Pablo pulled pork, a hot link medley, with steamed rice on the side. Cornbread is made like bibingka, the Filipino rice cake, and the flan comes in ube or buko pandan. On Wednesdays a combo plate puts most of the menu on one tray.
