Steaks, salmon and halibut come off an oakwood grill, and most of the rest is seafood: oysters, crab cakes, gumbo, a lobster roll and a tower built for sharing, with prime rib on Sundays. Michael Zislis opened it in 1999 at the foot of the Manhattan Beach Pier, and the space still runs on two levels: main dining room and bar downstairs, an enclosed patio, and a loft of tables looking down on the floor. A Navy Grog, gold and dark rum with tropical juices, is the house drink, and the menu dates it to 1961.
