Drag shows, punk nights, goth dance parties, hip-hop sets and experimental bands have all taken a turn on the small stage at this 7th Street bar, and the dance nights run past midnight. It opened in 1975 as a lesbian bar called Que Sera, in what had been the Monarch Room, and built its reputation on live music.
