Dozens of axe-throwing lanes, indoor and outdoor, fill a former warehouse in North Hollywood, staffed by coaches who spend as much time as it takes to get a beginner sticking bullseyes. Between throws there's cornhole, giant Jenga, Connect Four, and a wall of TVs for whatever game is on, plus beer, wine and snacks at the bar -- no outside drinks, though outside snacks are fine. It opened in 2018 billing itself as the country's largest axe-throwing venue, and walk-ins are welcome alongside booked sessions.
