Sunset Ranch

A family has run trail rides out of this Hollywood Hills stable since 1929, along paths that show up in movies from the same era. The daytime Mulholland Trail Tour passes views of the Hollywood sign, downtown and the Griffith Observatory, while the two-hour Mt. Hollywood tour climbs high enough for a 360-degree look across the San Fernando and San Gabriel valleys. Evening rides run most days at dusk, timed to catch the city lights coming on. Riders need to be at least eight years old and under 240 pounds, and helmets are required for everyone.
