This steakhouse has served the same corner of Redondo Beach since 1978, its third location since it first opened across from Redondo Union High School on Pacific Coast Highway in 1948. The dining room still has the low-lit, wood-paneled feel of a decades-old steakhouse, with booths that read broken-in rather than remodeled. Prime rib is on the menu every night alongside New York strip, ribeye and top sirloin, plus the burger the place is named for. Three generations of the same families have kept coming back for it.
