Opened in 1974 a block from the sand on 22nd Street, this Italian restaurant has stayed a neighborhood fixture for five decades. The kitchen serves classic pastas, fresh seafood and garlic bread, and staff help narrow down a wine list long enough that tables often end up ordering seven pastas at once. A wine cellar seating two to twenty hosts private dinners in back, and a 2017 renovation added its own wine bar. Ask for a spot on the front patio to catch the sunset over the water.
