The ground floor of the Hollywood Historic Hotel at Melrose and Wilton holds this family-owned bar, opened in 2016 and named for Edmon Simonian. The room runs to 1930s art deco: a carved wood bar backlit with liquor bottles, chandeliers, dark wood tables. Cocktails are built from scratch, with juices squeezed and syrups made in view of the bar, alongside a kitchen turning out duck confit tacos, chorizo sliders and pierogies. Seating spreads between the interior and a patio out back, with parking behind the building and happy hour running 4 to 7 most nights.
