Chef Miles Thompson runs this short, deeply seasonal menu out of a converted Craftsman bungalow tucked into Chinatown's Alpine Courtyard, where the entrance is on Centennial Street rather than Alpine. The room keeps its original wooden floors and a nightstand in the bathroom, with a backyard for overflow seating. The roughly six-dish menu is built to be ordered in full and split between two, and telling the server to fire the menu sends everything out in sequence. Reservations open 14 days out at 10am on Resy; the front patio takes walk-ins when a table is free.
