Dr. Sandwich

The original Dr. Sandwich occupies a strip mall storefront on Olympic Boulevard, a kosher Israeli counter serving shawarma, kebab, schnitzel, sabich and falafel built to order on pita, laffa or baguette, or piled onto a plate. The hummus comes out creamy, and the plate option alone runs enough food for three meals. Everything is made to order at the counter, kosher-certified under the Rabbinical Council of California.
