Musician Anderson .Paak opened this club with nightlife operators Mark and Jonnie Houston in the former Doheny Room, between the Troubadour and Dan Tana's. Before 10pm it runs as a sit-down restaurant with a small menu from chef Chris Oh, tables cleared away once the house band starts playing R&B, reggae and swing at a volume that makes conversation difficult. A photo booth built into the shell of an old Volkswagen Beetle sits on the back patio, though staff keep it closed until after 11.
