Kathie and Mike Gordon opened this Northern Italian trattoria on the corner of Darlington and San Vicente in 1989 after months spent traveling Tuscany. The kitchen turns out pappardelle with asparagus and mushrooms, pan-roasted salmon and margherita pizza. The restaurant has held a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence since 2004. It runs cashless, taking only cards, and reservations go through OpenTable; regulars over 40 in Brentwood have mostly been at least once.
