Marissa and Matt Hermer built this as a Mediterranean bungalow on Melrose Avenue's Restaurant Row, with each room styled to feel like a different part of a Mediterranean home - fabric drapes hang from the ceiling, tassels swing off velvet bar stools, and patterned wallpaper glows under low light. Chef Michael Fiorelli's menu draws on Italy, Greece, France, and Spain: lobster spaghetti for two, grilled Spanish octopus, bread baked in house. Later in the night a DJ takes over and the front bar turns into a scene. Service runs Tuesday through Saturday, 6pm to midnight.
