Josiah Citrin, the Michelin-starred chef behind Melisse a few miles up the coast, runs this one at a lower register: everything comes off charcoal, and the room favors booths, wood chairs, and wood dividers over white tablecloths, giving it a diner-ish feel. The menu leans into comfort food, seasonal produce and proteins finished over the coals. It sits on Washington Boulevard, on the line between Venice and Marina del Rey. Dinner service runs nightly, stretching to 10pm on weekends.
