Chef Dave Beran opened this French bistro on Main Street in Santa Monica in 2020, following his tasting-menu restaurant Dialogue. The dining room mixes wood beams, exposed brick and white kitchen tile, with a garden out back for private events. The signature dish is canard à la presse, a whole duck pressed tableside on a century-old Escoffier recipe, followed by a chocolate souffle or a vanilla bean rice pudding with pineapple caramelized for six hours. Doors open at 5pm nightly, with lunch added Saturday and Sunday from 11:30am to 2:30pm.
