Chef Andrew Kirschner opened this dining room on Santa Monica Boulevard in 2011, with tables looking into the open kitchen. Oxtail dumplings, duck rillette charcuterie, and a whole fried snapper come off a wood-fired setup, and dessert runs to a strawberry ricotta crostata. A fire and riot damage in 2020 forced Kirschner to rebuild before reopening just ahead of pandemic shutdowns. It's been busy since it opened, so book ahead on OpenTable rather than walking in.
