Two Argentine production designers, Federico Laboureau and Maximilian Pizzi, took a strip-mall space near Expo Park after the 2023 writers' strike ended their television work, and filled it with Facebook Marketplace furniture, an old piano, candles and pink walls. Empanadas come stuffed with beef braised in Malbec or spinach and mushroom, and the parrilla turns out entrana and other cuts of Argentine beef. The parking lot doubles as a venue for dance classes, movie nights and jazz.
