About this spot
The SS Avalon and SS Catalina once loaded passengers at this building on Crescent Avenue. Bluewater rebuilt it and opened in June 2013, with more than half the seats outside on a heated patio over the water, facing the beach, the harbor and the Casino. The kitchen works through as many as 40 kinds of seafood, some of it caught off Avalon's shore, and the 21-seat bar sends out cocktails in liter jugs.
