The Asapahu family has cooked here since 2004; the daughter, Vanda, is now co-owner and executive chef, and the menu leans on her mother's Northern Thai side, from nam phrik chili relish to pa lo braised pork belly. Ayara's toast comes as six elephant-shaped pieces under a ground pork and shrimp spread with cucumber sauce. Indoor dining returned in 2023 with ten tables and forty seats, and the patio out front catches people straight off a flight at LAX.
