Classic cars fill the parking lot every Friday from 4 to 10, and carhops bring trays out to the cars on Saturday and Sunday nights. Wayne McAllister designed the building in 1949, towering sign included, and it's the oldest Bob's Big Boy left in America and a California Point of Historical Interest. The Beatles ate in the last booth on the right in 1965, now marked with a plaque. The double-deck hamburger is still built the old way, two patties on a bun cut twice.
