The name is Vietnamese for beer hug, though what's on the menu is Bavarian: flammkuchen, schnitzel, roasted duck, and a run of sausages, with the kitchen's own Helles and Hefeweizen brewed on site and piped from the cellar straight to the tap upstairs. The beer hall sits above the ground-floor brewery, filled with long communal tables under a folk-tavern feel that plays against the building's Sunset Boulevard storefront. A Vietnamese sparkling lemonade sits on the drink list next to the German beers, the one nod back to the name. Dinner runs Friday through Sunday, and reservations aren't required.
