Laurent 'Lou' Correa, a former professional basketball player in France, moved to Los Angeles in 2012 and opened this patisserie in Burbank in 2016. The shop runs out of a tiny space with a walk-up ordering window at the door on Riverside Drive, open only Friday through Sunday mornings into early afternoon. Croissants, pains au chocolat and fruit tartelettes come from a kitchen that also turns out quiches and sandwiches, and regulars place orders 48 hours ahead to skip a line that otherwise runs past 30 minutes.
