The former Pacific Banana Co. building, part of the old City Market South produce market on the edge of the Fashion District, holds a big wraparound wooden bar, tiled floors, wicker ceiling fans, three private terraces and a large patio. Few of the walls are solid, so most tables feel half outdoors. Antonia Lofaso's kitchen cooks Latin dishes for sharing: street corn with cotija, empanadas, clams with chorizo, crispy pork shank with lettuce cups, whole snapper. The bar leans tropical, heavy on daiquiris and piña coladas, and the music is mostly salsa and Cuban.
