Tava House Restaurant

Lamb chops, veal chops, baby back ribs and lule kabob come off the grill at this Armenian kitchen on South Glendale Avenue, served as plates with salad and potatoes or rolled in lavash with herbs, onion, tomato and a house sauce. Gyros come in pork, chicken or beef, there are pressed baguette sandwiches, and the Tava's Special sits on a bed of mashed potatoes. Jarko is ordered per person and arrives with lavash, hummus and tabbouleh. The room was an Armenian kabob shop before this one, remodeled when Tava House took it over.
