Katsuya L.A. Live

The patio looks over the L.A. Live promenade, steps from Crypto.com Arena, so book ahead on game and concert nights. Philippe Starck designed the interior, which has lounge seating, private dining rooms and a sushi bar. Katsuya Uechi's menu runs to spicy tuna on crispy rice, yellowtail sashimi with jalapeño and miso-marinated black cod, with lobster dynamite and a Wagyu rib-eye among the bigger plates. Drinks include the Burning Mandarin, plus sake and a wine list. When the arena has an event, the kitchen sometimes opens early.
